The members of our club welcome you to our web site. We hope to introduce our club and invite you to our annual "Early Bird" mixed bonspiel held every year in early December, and our "International Open" bonspiel held every year in early October. Also, in 2007, we will be having our bi-annual "Lassie Bonspiel". We have included maps and directions for those who are attending one of our bonspiels. For those not aquainted with curling, please check out the section on Curling Basics. The North Shore Curling Club is located in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. We started curling in 1951 and currently have four sheets of ice. We are associated with the North Shore Country Club. We are one of several clubs in the Chicago area, the others being the "Chicago Curling Club" the "Exmoor Curling Club" and the "Wilmette Curling Club". |
